The Seagull

The Concept for this show was to focus on the beauty of nature and time. The goal of the show was to make the audience realize that they do not take the time to appreciate nature.

Nature and the Lake:
  • Nature was used throughout Acts I and II. The way this worked without disrupting the story was the placement of the sounds; where they were coming from and where they were moving to. Some speakers were placed facing the walls to bounce the sound to the audience which shaped the theater into a much larger space. All of the music was inspired by nature and all of its beauty.
